Important Update About Production Timelines
Hey Boosters!
What a crazy month it’s been with the Coronavirus spreading across the globe. We hope y’all are still on the healthy side!
As mentioned in our previous updates, the virus caused a delay in production. While most factories in China have resumed operating, only 30% of the workforce is on site. Hence, the slowdown of the production. We have all the electronics ready for the Boost fins, and the only part that’s affected by the delay is the production of body shells.
So when will you get your Boost Fin? We will continue working hard to make sure you get the Boost Fins as close to the initial delivery date as possible: late May but might have to move the delivery to June.
What else is our team up to right now? Currently I’m in Hong Kong, meeting with factory officials. As of right now, they are expecting to resume operating at full capacity in April.
Also a part of our team is doing durability testing on Bali. Surfboards and SUPs are all performing pretty well on the waves and against strong currents. Can’t wait for you all to give it a try! Check out this video to get a sneak peek into how it’s going (the link: https://youtu.be/Lq-rCWo2t9w)
Thank you for your support and understanding, guys! We will make sure to keep you updated if anything changes.
Stay tuned!
