Getting Your Survey Answers + A Guide For Adapters

Hi Boosters!

Thank you for sending in your survey answers! 855 of you have already done that! We are still missing a few responses, so don’t forget to send yours in: It’s important to get all the questions answered in order for us to send you the right Boost Fin set up. 

While your surveys are flying in, we’re getting ready to fly out to China to begin mass production, once the Lunar New Year holidays end (新年快乐!). We are a bit worried about the Coronavirus that’s been spreading across China, as most of you’ve probably heard about. We really hope that it won’t become an obstacle to sticking to our promises to you and delivering the Boost Fins on time, but just wanted to keep you updated about the current situation. Stay healthy y’all!

Now, going back to the surveys, one of the questions most of you feel unsure about is the adapter question. To help you all, we’ve wrote this easy guide to find a perfect adapter for your board. 

Disclaimer: if you’ve realized you picked the wrong adapter after reading this, don’t worry! Just send us a DM and we’ll make changes on our end.  

The Boost Fin Works With:

The Boost Surfing Fin works with Soft top, Longboard, Funboard, Paddleboard (SUP) and some are even planning on trying it on a foil board, kayaks and who knows what else. It can be attached to shortboards, but in our experience, it’s a bit draggy, even though allowed to catch all kinds of big waves.

Technically, the Boost Surfing Fin can be attach to any board using our adapters (2 included in the package).

For Kayak, SUP, Windsurfing Fin, PVC Paddle Board, Surfboard Long Board Center Fin, PVC Fin Glue On we’ve designed a universal adapter that would fit any of your boards. You can also choose to use one the adapters mentioned before if you realize that it’d fit your board (in our experience, most paddle boards have a regular Longboard fin box):

If You Still Can’t Find The Right Adapter:

We can create a 3D model of any custom adapter, in case your board has some tricky installation system (if it does, most likely that you already know that).
